ILLUMINAT (formerly CCS) has been an information technology provider for Caribbean for almost 20 years and is wholly owned by Neal and Massy Incorporated. The company markets, implements and supports a broad range of products and services.

As a regional company operating in the Caribbean, we have been committed to the training and development of Caribbean people. It has become tremendously important to ensure that our young people have the necessary skills to enable them to effectively function in today's society. In this global environment, in which we live, it is necessary that our students be able to compete with persons from all countries around the world.

ILLUMINAT Education Solutions specializes in issues related to the integration of technology in primary and secondary schools and classrooms. We work with teachers, students, administrators, parents, and other community members to develop a common understanding of the uses and value of classroom technology. This broad-based approach is realized through services centred around:

• Assistance with the development of educational technology plans.
• Evaluation of educational technology implementation.
• Workshops and consulting assistance to educators on the choice and use of educational software and hardware.

ILLUMINAT Education Solutions has established itself as a leader in the provision of Educational Solutions to the Caribbean through the establishment of a extensive network of links through our regional offices; a healthy working relationship with education institutions throughout the region; and the development of smart partnership with other Education Technology market leaders.

OUR STRATEGY

Over the past three years, our main goal has been to identify and/or develop strategies, resources, and support that promote effective use of electronic resources aimed at enabling school leaders, policymakers, and the people who work with them to make a difference in how schools improve teaching and learning with technology.

Our main objectives include:

• defining issues to address in helping faculty to develop their capabilities to use technology;
• developing strategies to bring resources together and create appropriate instructional support systems;
• developing strategies to encourage cooperative involvement of all players in the education sector.

OUR TEAM

ILLUMINAT Education Solutions has an experienced team of dedicated Educational Consultants throughout the Caribbean. All of our consultants are former classroom teachers, each with at least 10 years teaching experience. They bring their experiences in and out of the classroom, to bear on the development of workshops, courses and technology plans specific to the needs of Caribbean teachers. We also draw on the expertise of several external consultants with wide and varied experiences in the education and technology sectors, both regionally and internationally.

ILLUMINAT is an authorised reseller for several of the top international technology companies. ILLUMINAT has also joined with the leading international education software producers to develop a total education solution for all subjects at all levels of the education system. Through these strategic partnerships ILLUMINAT is able to deliver quality products and after sales service to the education market.
