Our Site |
Caribbean
Education Online (caribbeanedu.com) was designed specifically
to meet the needs of the many players in the Education
Sector in the Caribbean. As such it caters to Administrators,
Teachers, Other Education Professionals, Students
and Parents.
The
site was developed using a modular approach, with
some modules catering specifically to a particular
group within the Sector. For example, Teacher Central
contains information specific to Education Professionals,
whereas Student Central contains information of greatest
importance to students. Other modules are more general
in nature, for example, CORAL - The Caribbean Online
Reference and Archive Library caters to practically
everyone.
A
summary of the contents of each module is given below:

DESIGNED FOR YOU
What
makes this site unique is that each component was
developed by the members of the audience which is
caters to. For example, the core team for the KEWL
and Student Central was made up of young people all
under the age of 25. Similarly, Teacher Central has
a heavy input from practicing teachers.
As
a
Caribbean
company, we have also made
every attempt to include
Caribbean
content on this site. In
addition to Caribbean Odyssey, you will find the language,
scenes and content of lesson plans, content and external
links have a strong
Caribbean
flavour.
As
you would appreciate, it is very difficult to garner
all the information to serve the wide and ever changing
education sector. The site is therefore being constantly
updated and improved. To this end, we welcome your
input, be it a comment, an article or even a question.
Finally,
we have made every attempt to ensure the accuracy
and appropriate referencing of all information. If
you identify any errors of omission or otherwise,
feel free to inform us.

is the single most important factor is improving the
lives of everyone in our society. Indeed, it is a
