Prime Minister Owen Arthur

The Barbados Labour Party (BLP) was re-elected for a third term in the May 21 general elections in Barbados. The new House of Assemebly will comprise 23 members of the BLP and 7 members of the Democratic Labour Party (DLP).

This site provides information for students, teachers, parents and indeed everyone on how the Barbadian electoral system works, and how and why we all should take part in the democratic process.
