destinations to the Caribbean, regularly scheduled
connections to some of the smaller islands is
also available on smaller Caribbean airlines.
|
How
Far?
Did
you know that it takes a jet approximately
3.5 hours to travel between Guyana (in
the south) and the Bahamas (in the north)
a distance of approximately 2,887 km?
The same journey would take 6 hours in
a turbo-pro plane (like LIAT); 10 hours
in a crop duster; and only 1.5 hours by
the Concorde (if it flew that route).
Follow
this
to find the distance between any two airport.
You can type in two airport codes and
get the distance (miles, km, nm), flight
time and wind adjusted distance.

The
Largest of Them All!

Voyager of the Seas is like a small town, only afloat. It carries over 3800 passengers and almost 1200 crew, and it weighs three times as much as the Titanic, and twice as much as the Norway. One of its most distinctive features is the huge atrium area known as the Royal Promenade. |
