:: CERTIFICATION

Successful participants will be awarded a nationally recognised Certificate of Achievement. Those participants with a final percentage of 90 or more will be awarded a Certificate of Distinction; whereas those with between 75 and 89 percent will receive a Certificate of Merit. Participants gaining 60 to 74 percent will receive a passing grade.
The program of study at the basic and intermediate levels closely follow the internationally recognised International Computer Drivers License (ICDL) as well as the Microsoft Office Specialist Certificate (MOS). Participants who are interested in pursuing these certifications may do so by registering with a certified testing centre. Successful participants in the basic programme are also eligible (upon payment of appropriate fees) for continuing education credits from the Old Dominion University. The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers are also used throughout all levels.
