INTRODUCTION
This
course is designed for educators who have an
interest in creating or using technology for
instructional purposes and provides them with
a broad perspective on the nature of technology.
During the various workshops, participants will
identify and adapt new technologies for the
classroom; learn about handheld computers, and
other innovative tools; and explore how these
various technologies can be used to enhance
student learning in and out of the classroom.
The
course is highly activity-oriented and practical
as it is intended to equip educators with the
skills and techniques which they will utilize
in the classroom. Information presented will
be relevant and individually responsive to the
needs of the participants. The course is intended
to be an interesting and fun experience for
all involved.
