introductory course is designed to allow educators to become
better familiar with the basic concepts of Information and
Comunication Technology (ICT). |

COURSE OBJECTIVES
At
the end of this course:
-
Participants will have a better understanding of computer
basics - hardware, software, operating systems and communications.

Participants will effectively use the main features of
the various tools within the Microsoft Office suite.

Participants will begin to effectively integrate all of
the tools learned into the teaching-learning process.

Participants will have learned how to identify, review,
modify and create technology rich lessons.

Participants will be exposed to several resources and
tools for use in the development and delivery of technology-rich
unit and lesson plans.
