COURSE OBJECTIVES

At the end of this course:

• Participants will have a better understanding of computer basics - hardware, software, operating systems and communications.
  
• Participants will effectively use the main features of the various tools within the Microsoft Office suite.
  
• Participants will begin to effectively integrate all of the tools learned into the teaching-learning process.
  
• Participants will have learned how to identify, review, modify and create technology rich lessons.
  
• Participants will be exposed to several resources and tools for use in the development and delivery of technology-rich unit and lesson plans.
